Incumbent Lim Biow Chuan has represented electors here since GE2006, when the constituency was still part of Marine Parade GRC. Throughout his time in politics, Lim has only known one opponent — Jeannette Chong-Aruldoss — whom he’s beaten twice, most recently with 71 per cent of the vote.
